I'm Andy, a junior and triple major in math, computer science, and physics at Occidental College.
My research interests involve developing machine learning models for solving problems in the physical world. Much of my work has focused on addressing problems in environmental science, healthcare, and education.
This summer, I'm working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in the EMIT GHG Machine Learning group, developing deep learning models for NO2 & NH3 plume detection.
I've been very fortunate to have several fantastic mentors support my research: John Lipor, Chris Cianci, Justin Li, and Joel Walsh.
When I'm not working a problem, you can find me out on the baseball diamond—I'm also a catcher at Occidental.
