About
I'm Andy Franck, a triple major in math, CS, and physics at Occidental.
I'm interested in applying my math and CS knowledge to solve problems in signal processing and deep/machine learning. I also enjoy working on problems in computer graphics, simulations, and computational physics.
When I'm not working a problem, you can find me out on the baseball diamond--I'm also a catcher at Oxy.Technical Skills

Mathematical Background
Advanced coursework in vector calculus, applied linear algebra, differential equations, group theory/abstract algebra. Additional focus on data structures and algorithms, discrete math and information theory. Physics studies include classical mechanics, electromagnetism, computer simulations, dynamical systems, and Fourier analysis.
Current graduate-level work in numerical optimization and mathematics of machine learning, with research in signal processing pathology detection, and computational neuroscience.
